Content & Editorial Guidelines

FMFIE Creative Club

1. Purpose

The purpose of these Content & Editorial Guidelines is to establish the editorial standards governing all submissions made to FMFIE Creative Club ("FMFIE", "we", "our", or "us"). These guidelines are intended to preserve the quality, integrity, professionalism, and credibility of our publishing platform while ensuring a safe, respectful, and enjoyable reading experience for our audience. Every submission is reviewed against these standards before it is considered for publication. By submitting content, authors acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with these guidelines.

2. General Audience Publication Standard

FMFIE Creative Club is a publication intended for a general audience. Accordingly, all submitted content must be suitable for readers of all ages and presented in a professional, respectful, and responsible manner. Content that is explicit, offensive, disturbing, misleading, discriminatory, unlawful, or otherwise inconsistent with a general audience publication standard will not be accepted. Authors are expected to exercise sound editorial judgment when preparing submissions to ensure that their work reflects the values and publishing standards of the platform.

3. Editorial Principles

FMFIE is committed to publishing content that reflects originality, authenticity, accuracy, professionalism, and creative excellence. Authors are encouraged to communicate ideas thoughtfully, support factual statements where appropriate, and present their work in a manner that contributes positively to readers. Every submission should demonstrate respect for individuals, communities, and differing perspectives while maintaining a high standard of editorial quality. The publication values meaningful storytelling, informed discussion, creativity, and responsible communication.

4. Editorial Quality Standards

Submissions should be carefully prepared before submission and should exhibit a high standard of writing, organisation, and presentation. Authors are expected to submit work that is clear, coherent, grammatically accurate, and appropriately structured for publication. Content should be free from unnecessary repetition, excessive promotional language, or material that detracts from the overall reading experience. While creative expression is encouraged, all submissions should reflect professionalism and editorial maturity appropriate for publication on FMFIE Creative Club.

5. Prohibited Content

FMFIE does not publish content that contains or promotes material that is offensive, abusive, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, graphically violent, discriminatory, hateful, misleading, unlawful, dangerous, or otherwise harmful. This includes, but is not limited to, profanity, harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination against protected groups, graphic violence, pornography, exploitation, criminal activity, terrorism, self-harm promotion, malicious software, phishing attempts, fraudulent schemes, or content intended to deceive readers. Similarly, advertisements, spam, unsolicited commercial messages, affiliate promotions, and excessive self-promotion are not suitable for editorial publication unless expressly authorised by FMFIE. Any submission containing such material may be declined without further review.

6. Originality and Intellectual Property

Authors must submit only original work or material for which they possess all necessary legal rights, licences, permissions, or authorisations. Submissions must not infringe upon the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property rights of any individual or organisation. Where third-party material, quotations, photographs, illustrations, or other protected works are included, authors are solely responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions before submission. Plagiarism, unauthorised reproduction, or any form of intellectual property infringement is strictly prohibited.

7. Accuracy, Attribution and Ethical Publishing

Authors are responsible for ensuring that factual statements contained within their submissions are accurate to the best of their knowledge at the time of submission. Where appropriate, factual information should be capable of verification, and quotations, statistics, or third-party material should be properly attributed. Opinion, commentary, satire, and personal experience are welcome provided they are presented honestly and are not misleadingly represented as objective fact. FMFIE reserves the right to request clarification or supporting information where necessary to uphold editorial integrity.

8. Editorial Review and Revisions

Every submission is subject to editorial review before publication. During this process, FMFIE may make reasonable editorial amendments to improve grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, clarity, readability, consistency, editorial style, and overall presentation. Where appropriate, editors may also request revisions from the author before publication. Editorial changes are made in good faith and, wherever reasonably practicable, will preserve the author's original meaning, perspective, and creative intent. Submission of content does not guarantee that a submission will be edited, reviewed within a particular timeframe, or published.

9. Membership and Submission Eligibility

An active FMFIE Creative Club Membership is required for all editorial submissions. Only submissions received from members whose memberships are active and in good standing will be considered for editorial review. Membership grants eligibility to submit content for consideration but does not confer any entitlement or expectation of publication. FMFIE reserves the right to determine submission eligibility in accordance with its membership policies and editorial requirements.

10. Editorial Discretion and Publication Decisions

All editorial decisions are made solely at the discretion of FMFIE. We reserve the unrestricted right to accept, decline, edit, postpone, withdraw, or remove any submission at any stage of the editorial or publication process where it is considered necessary to protect the quality, integrity, reputation, or legal interests of the publication. FMFIE may also request revisions, decline to provide reasons for editorial decisions, or discontinue publication of previously published material where circumstances warrant. Compliance with these guidelines does not guarantee publication, and all editorial decisions shall be final.

11. Author Representations and Responsibilities

By submitting content, authors represent and warrant that they are authorised to submit the material, that the submission complies with applicable laws and these Content & Editorial Guidelines, and that the information contained within the submission is accurate to the best of their knowledge. Authors remain solely responsible for the legality, originality, authenticity, and content of their submissions, including any opinions expressed, factual statements made, permissions obtained, and potential claims arising from publication. FMFIE accepts no responsibility for inaccuracies, omissions, or legal liabilities arising from author-submitted content.

12. Publication Rights

Submission of content to FMFIE Creative Club constitutes a request for editorial consideration only and does not create any contractual obligation to publish the submitted material. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, authors retain ownership of their original work. By submitting content for editorial consideration, authors grant FMFIE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to review, edit, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, promote, archive, and otherwise use the submitted material in connection with the operation, promotion, and publication of FMFIE Creative Club. Authors further acknowledge that reasonable editorial modifications may be made in accordance with these guidelines while preserving the intended meaning of the work.

13. Removal or Withdrawal of Published Content

FMFIE reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove, suspend, revise, or discontinue publication of any content where it reasonably determines that the material violates these guidelines, infringes the rights of third parties, creates legal or reputational risk, becomes factually inaccurate, or otherwise no longer satisfies the editorial standards of the publication. Such action may be taken without prior notice where circumstances reasonably require.

14. Disclaimer

The opinions, views, analyses, recommendations, and statements expressed in published submissions are solely those of their respective authors and do not necessarily reflect the views, opinions, policies, or positions of FMFIE Creative Club or FMFIE. Publication of any submission should not be interpreted as verification, endorsement, approval, or recommendation of its content by FMFIE. Readers should exercise their own judgment when relying upon information contained within published submissions.

15. Amendments to these Guidelines

FMFIE reserves the right to revise, amend, update, or replace these Content & Editorial Guidelines at any time in order to reflect changes in applicable law, editorial practice, operational requirements, or publication standards. The version in effect at the time a submission is received will ordinarily govern that submission unless otherwise determined by FMFIE. Authors are encouraged to review these guidelines periodically to remain informed of any updates.

16. Acceptance of these Guidelines

By submitting any content to FMFIE Creative Club, the author acknowledges that they have carefully read, understood, and accepted these Content & Editorial Guidelines. The author further acknowledges that compliance with these guidelines is a condition of editorial consideration and that FMFIE reserves the right to interpret and apply these standards in its sole editorial discretion. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in the rejection of a submission, removal of published content, suspension of submission privileges, termination of membership-related publishing benefits, or any other action deemed necessary to preserve the integrity, quality, and reputation of the FMFIE Creative Club publishing platform.
